Coniston Old Man and Dow Crag
Two drawings of Coniston Old man and Dow Crag, the top one a summer version and the lower one in autumn. I acknowledge to painting of William Heaton Cooper that I have used to make my drawings, I have tired to place my own stamp on the scene using pastel rather than watercolour and varying the seasons depicted.
They are 75x57cm and framed in light oak.

Storm over the moors
I have made a lot of sketches of landscapes including field patterns and hill sides, rivers and roads and lots of skies. Here I have made a large abstract version of a storm passing over a moorland landscape.
Collection of Sophie Hughes and Bob Farrell
White Cliffs
We like to visit the East Sussex coast when we go to visit our son and his family, the white cliffs being a particular favourite landscape, so different from the sandy shores of South West Lancashire.

Blencathra
I have made quite a number of sketches of Blencathra from Tewit Tarn recently and have worked three of them up into large pastel drawings trying to reflect different light condition depending on weather and time of day. I have placed them all in autumn to provide the widest possible range of colours.

Fields, crags and tarns
Seven drawings of fields, crags, cliffs and tarns.
Poor weather over the moors
The rain has just passed and the ground glimmers in the wet.
Coloured Pencil Abstracts
Four pure abstract drawings using coloured pencils.
Mountain sketches
Crags, streams, waterfalls, tarns, grass, bracken and lots of sky are all in my mind when I am drawing these sketches. We can’t go there at the moment so I have to re-imagine them.
